Our quarries are the backbone of our production. These quarries guarantee better products, a higher level of color conformity, and above all, competitive prices. In total, Omani Marble currently owns and operates three quarries in Oman, producing a virtually unlimited supply of the finest marble, appearing in many of the world’s most prestigious projects.
Company History
1986
Established in 1986 in Rusayl Industrial Area, Omani Marble operated quarries in Nizwa and Ibri. The quarries produce high-quality raw materials with special colors.
2004
The first phase of development added high-performance Italian machinery, renovated the factory, and expanded facilities to 18,500 sqm, boosting production capacity to 500K sqm/year.
2006
The second phase of investment was carried out. A new land plot (70,000 sqm) was acquired to accommodate the increasing demand. The new factory was fitted with top of the line machinery. Production capacity increased to 1,000,000 sqm/year.
2011
Omani Marble was named the biggest exporter by Sultan Qaboos Port. The company was the first and biggest exporter in terms of the number of containers passing through the port.
